"MissConduct" in Texas
We're going to do something slightly different this month and have not one BUT two features! Whenever possible I try to feature trucks owned or driven by Global Trucking members and this month is no different with both Randy and Justin being members of the Global Trucking Forum.
First up is the 2007 Peterbilt 379 driven by Randy Supak and owned by Equipment Express which is based in Caldwell Texas USA and runs mostly in the lower regions of the United States.
The Pete was bought new in October 2006 and taken back to their shop in Texas to be modified. They added WTI rear fenders and changed the front fenders, front and rear visors from Four State Trucks were added also. The interior was completely painted, the dash panels getting a blue with a grey marble look. Bostrom wide ride seats that sit on the floor, the front end was lowered to give it a low raked look aswell as some 5" panels to the cab and sleeper to add to the effect. To finish it off a deck plate was added that is flush inbetween the frame to hide the driveshaft and give it a overall clean look. It also has a 20 inch American Eagle bumper and 8 inch stacks!
Named "MissConduct" this Peterbilt has a 307 wheel base and runs a 550 Cat engine with a 18 speed transmission and 370 rears. Randy hauls heavy equipment of all kinds but mostly for Pipeline companies. The trailer is a 2008 XL 55 tonne specialised low body, 28 foot in the well with axles having 60 inch centres. "MissConduct" can pull from a 5 axle set up to a 9 axel set up grossing a weight of 194 tonne with a 9 axel set up!
Having taken out a first place in the "Specialised" section in the 2007 Truckshow in Louisville Kentucky Randy sure has "MissConduct" looking sharp and ready to haul those huge loads down the freeways. Randy has posted more photos of his impressive ride on the Global Trucking Forum so join up today and check them out!
A big thank you to Randy for supplying the photos and information for this article.
